 Kiaya Co., Ltd. was spun off from the marketing and R&D divisions of Wuho Textile in 2005. The mother company was registered in 1962 and fully-operated in 1968, and its main business is in the spinning-grade high polymer. At the initial stage, Kiaya focused more on high polymer application instead of acting as a material provider.
With the progress of biocompatible polymers, many used-to-be concepts are getting more and more overwhelmingly breakthrough, particularly in personal protection and medical care area. By acquiring several invention patents and intellectual property rights, Kiaya further teamed up with National Taiwan University Hospital ENT department and Biomedical Engineering department in 2010 to develop a series of respiratory healthcare products, which are trademarked as Healthnaso, Warmnaso, and Nanonaso.
